  Real World Testing is ideally located for in-vehicle, automotive testing on public access roads. The Columbus Indiana location provides easy access to two interstates I-65 and I-74. US 31 provides a North / South route through Columbus. US 50 is used for some East / West testing. Since much of the area around Columbus is rural, traffic flow over the state highways and county roads is not congested.

The rugged terrain in the southwest quadrant of the area near Columbus has some steep grades that can be used for automotive testing. This area also includes the Hoosier National Forest which has some public access roads suitable for off highway automotive testing on secondary roads.
